Research Question
Is it possible for a person to earn a profit through online selling? More specifically, is it possible for any person in the country to buy something on eBay and make more money on the same item by re-selling it on eBay? How is it possible for one person to be able to make more or less money selling the same item on eBay?
Statement of Purpose
This guide will demonstrate the importance of buying in the physical world as well as the virtual world. It will also show how re-selling in the virtual world (eBay) will maximize a potential profit rather than re-selling in the physical world.
List of Information Needed to Gather
For this project, I would need to get sources about how eBay works, safe and smart buying and selling tips, information about the different kinds of buyers and sellers, and different marketing techniques.

Very interesting..Remember when we used to work at ShopRite and people would come in with a bunch of coupons during triple or double coupons days and get everything for almost nothing? They would come to the registers with carts and carts of sodas and food and just pay what the tax would be on those items? Then, they would resell them in their stores and make a profit. Just an example of reselling in the phyiscal world.
You will be talking about buying on e-bay and then selling it on e-bay? Or buying it in the physical world and then selling it on e-bay? I was a bit confused. I think this is interesting because sometimes I wonder if I am spending more money buying things on e-bay then in the real world. With that automatic increase that e-bay now offers a buyer doesn't physically have to sit at the comp to make another bid. That makes me mad...haha.
This is an interesting topic, especially since online shopping is extremely popular. I am wondering how you will be able to find out how a person could make more money on ebay.
Is there a guide that can give you that information? who uses that guide?
Is it available to anyone?will you be using other sites too or just ebay? maybe you could do a comparison.Also, which users are you targetting?
I am really interested in this topic. I am curious as to how you could make a profit selling or buying things on e-bay without getting scammed. I often go on Amazon to see if I can buy cheaper textbooks for school b/c as we know the college bookstore is a ripoff.
I think it would be helpful if you included a very basic guide for people who have never resold items on ebay, but are intested in doing so.
